General Rules

1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promotion in the forums

These forums define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites. Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc.

Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users

DO NOT ASK for email addresses or phone numbers

2. Do not post copyright-infringing material or plagiarize the work of others.

Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden.

Post only your own work. If anyone is found stealing or posting other people's works without permission, you will be banned permanently and your posts will be deleted.

(Posting fanfiction and role play pertaining to MATCH episodes is encouraged and not considered an infringement of copyright.)

3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images

Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse of non-fictional characters is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums outside of fictional story content (which must contain a warning if they include offensive material). This includes user pictures. Use common sense while posting.

4. Do not cross-post questions or comments

Please refrain from posting the same questions or comments in several forums. There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question or comment.

5. Follow posting rules as lined out within individual thread categories

Posts for interactive material, fanfiction, and role play should follow the proper format and rules as described for each category. Failure to read and comply to posting rules will result in a request to edit posts appropriately, followed by a warning and deletion of posts if they are not altered in a timely manner. Further action may be taken for repeat offensives.

6. If avoidable, do not PM users asking for help

Do not send private messages to any users asking for help unless absolutely necessary (pertaining to sensitive subject matter). If you need help, make a new thread in the appropriate forum so the whole community can help and benefit.

7. Remain respectful of other members at all times

All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.

However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to obey this rule.

Any reports of inappropriate private messages or emails will be looked into by the admins/mods, and the responsible party will be dealt with accordingly. Messages include spam, flames, unwanted explicit content, etc.

Admins/mods reserve the right to edit/delete general discussion posts as needed, but no creative content will be altered in any way outside of the permission of the author.

**Failure to follow these forum rules may result in warnings, temporary, or permanent bans from the forum and deletion of all content.
